About the Trip
Just south of Alaska.
Langara Island sits at the northwest tip of Haida Gwaii, in waters with the West Coast’s greatest run of migrating salmon.
How you fish
You and your guest fish from a 24-ft console boat with an expert guide. The sheltered waters are close to the fishing grounds, so it works for serious anglers and first-timers alike.
What you catch
Pacific salmon and halibut. Langara cleans, vacuum-packs and flash-freezes your catch, and ships it home for you.
Beyond the fishing
Humpback and killer whales, bald eagles and sea otters, plus the natural beauty and Haida history of the islands. Back at the lodge: gourmet dining and a warm room.

Prize Conditions
The fine print, in plain words.
Can I give or sell my prize to someone else?
No. Prizes are awarded to the named winner and can’t be sold, auctioned, gifted or transferred. The trip winner chooses their own guest.
When can I take the trip?
In June or September 2027, subject to the lodge’s availability when you book. Book early for the best choice of dates.
Can more friends come along?
Yes, at their own cost. The trip certificate lets the winner buy up to two more trips at $300 off Langara’s regular rates, subject to availability.
What happens if my travel costs more than $500?
The prize includes $500 cash toward getting to and from Vancouver. Anything above that, guide gratuities, fishing licences, any hotel stays before or after the trip, and personal expenses are the winner’s and guest’s responsibility.
How do I get my e-bikes?
Tell us which two models you’d like. Cranky’s Bike Shop in Aldergrove supplies them, and we ship them to you anywhere in BC at our cost.
We bought the Fishing Buddy Pack together. Who wins?
Tickets are issued to the person who buys them, and the prize is awarded to that ticket holder. If you’re splitting a package, agree between yourselves before you buy, including who will be the winner and who will be the guest.
Is the 50/50 jackpot part of these prizes?
No. The 50/50 is a separate draw with its own tickets and licence. Its prize is 50% of total 50/50 ticket sales, drawn April 1, 2027 at 6:30 PM. See the 50/50.
Total value of all raffle prizes: $26,895. A maximum of 12,750 raffle tickets will be sold; actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold. Full Rules of Play.
